frequently asked questions
Do you paint commissions?
Yes- The process requires trust and openness from both the client and artist.
Painting something special for you, a project or a loved one can be a very rewarding experience and I love working with clients who are flexible, curious and have a reasonable time frame in mind.
I am currently only taking on a select number of commissions for residential and commercial projects.
Please email me to discuss.
Are your artworks original or prints?
I offer original artworks, limited edition and open edition fine art prints.
Each product page clearly states whether the piece is an original or a print.
What is the difference between canvas print & fine art paper print?
The biggest difference between these two materials, is that canvas can be framed without glass or acrylic, whereas fine art paper requires glass/acrylic for framing.
Both canvas and paper artworks look almost identical in colour, both are UV resistant, and have superb vibrant colours with a matte finish.
They just have a different texture and require a different type of frame.
Which one is right for you?
It is up to your personal taste, and what you feel will go with the aesthetic of your home.
What paper are the prints printed on?
All prints are produced on premium, museum-grade paper using archival inks to ensure longevity, depth, and tonal clarity.
What does “limited edition” mean?
Limited edition prints are produced in a fixed quantity.
Once an edition sells out, it will never be reprinted.
What’s the difference between purchasing here and through other retailers?
Some of my artworks are licensed to selected retailers.
When you purchase directly through my studio, you’re receiving the highest quality version of my work — produced to my most exacting specifications using the same premium materials and techniques as my original artworks.
Each framed canvas print is created with museum-grade canvas, archival pigment inks, and carefully considered professional framing designed to last for decades, not just a few years.
Licensed versions may vary in materials, finishes, size options, and overall longevity.
If you’re seeking the most true-to-original and enduring representation of my artwork, I recommend purchasing directly through my website.
Buying artist-direct also allows me to reinvest into my practice, create new collections, and continue producing work at the level of craftsmanship I’m known for.
Where can I view your work in person?
Unfortunately, I don't have a public showroom yet.
You can view work in the studio by appointment (Bellingen region, NSW).
Please contact me via email to arrange.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of art and limited editions, all sales are final.
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours so I can assist.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes we can, depending on the design.
Please get in touch regarding custom sizes at info@britneyturnerart.com
How to care for my artwork?
When cared for correctly and kept out of direct sunlight, prints are designed to last for decades without fading.
Avoid direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperature changes.
Handle with clean hands and frame behind glass for best preservation.
Where do you ship to?
I currently ship Australia-wide and internationally.
Shipping is free to anywhere in Australia.
International shipping options and pricing are shown at checkout.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Prints are made to order.
Please allow time for production, plus shipping time.
Originals are dispatched within a few business days unless otherwise stated.
